As you all know, I love to play. It is one of the things that keeps me waking up in the morning, working every day, and practicing, practicing, practicing.
Performing is my passion.
And to get to do it to make a difference?
So a good friend of mine, Andy Thomas who owns one of the greatest art galleries I’ve seen, and I got to thinking:
What if we got to drink beer, perform and make a difference in our community?
So that’s exactly what we did, and let me tell you, the response was tremendous.
In only about five hours, we raised nearly $700 to split between our charities!
We had a song battle with the opening shots fired being Michael Jackson tunes.
We had guest appearances.
We had a blast.
And who said raising money for charity was hard?
It just takes some work, and a way to make it fun. So thank you to all of you who came out, who wrote checks, who threw money into our kegs!
Can’t wait to see who we’ll be raising money for next year!
